Mumbai, Jan. 17 -- Since the beginning of her Bollywood career (with Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl; 2011), Parineeti Chopra has often spoken about being close to actor-cousin Priyanka Chopra. Now, she tells us that teaming up with Priyanka for a film would be "the best thing".
"That would be a 'dream come true' kind of thing for me. Since I am related to Priyanka, working with her will bring a new level of elation. I think I would just keep watching her because I think she is brilliant on the set. Even if I wasn't her sister, I would want to do a film with her," says Parineeti.
The actor hopes that a good script for them to work together soon comes their way. She says, "I love Mimi didi (as she fondly calls Priyanka). She is such an easy and caring person. Doing a film with her would be amazing. I think I will forget to act if I am next to her."
Last November, another member of the family, Mannara (whose original name is Barbie Handa) made her Bollywood debut. While Priyanka attended the music launch to support her cousin, Parineeti's absence led to rumours of a cold war of sorts between them.
But the actor denies this, saying, "We (Barbie and I) have grown up together since we are just a year apart. I was not in the country on the day of the music launch. And since Mimi didi was there and I wasn't, everyone started saying, 'Why is Parineeti not here?' and 'Why is only Priyanka here?' I am also always there for Barbie."
