Mumbai, Nov. 10 -- After earning critical acclaim for her last film, The Lunchbox (2013), Nimrat Kaur has now been receiving praise for her role in the popular international TV show, Homeland. And one of her fans happens to be Kareena Kapoor Khan. The Bollywood star, who bumped into Nimrat while dining at a restaurant in Bandra (W) recently, spoke to her at length about how much she loves the hit TV series.
"Nimrat recently got back from Cape Town, South Africa, where she was shooting for the TV show. So, she was catching up with a few friends at Pali Village Cafe. Kareena also happened to be present at the same restaurant with Amrita Arora Ladak," says an insider, who was also present at the eatery.
Towards the end of the evening, Kareena walked up to Nimrat and told her that she and her actor-husband Saif Ali Khan were hooked on to her TV show, and that they loved her performance in it.
The source adds, "Nimrat seemed overwhelmed with the praise and thanked Kareena for watching the show." Kareena, apparently, had even posted a status update on a mobile chat application about how much she enjoyed watching Nimrat's performance on the show.
