Mumbai, May 17 -- Back in the '70s, Neetu Singh played a small part in Yaadon Ki Baarat (1973), in which her dance number, 'Lekar hum deewana dil', earned her a lot of attention.
Years later, her nephew, Armaan Jain (son of Neetu's sister-in-law, Reema Jain), is set to make his debut with a film whose title has been taken from the same hit number.
We have come to know that Neetu is thrilled about it, especially because she has a personal and professional connect with the song. In fact, she also spoke to Reema about it in detail. "This song holds a special place in my heart. It was my first film and I was merely in eighth grade, and had faced the camera for the first time. When I learnt what the title of Armaan's film was, I was super excited. I also shared my feelings with Armaan's mother," says Neetu.
Back in 2012 too, Karan Johar had produced a film titled Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, whose title was taken from another hit song originally featuring Neetu and her husband, Rishi Kapoor, from their 1975 hit, Khel Khel Mein.
