Mumbai, Jan. 9 -- Salman Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui's first film as co-stars, Kick (2014), was a big hit. Now, the duo is teaming up again for Kabir Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The two will be shooting together in Rajasthan from today (January 9), and leading lady Kareena Kapoor Khan will join them soon.
"The cast and crew - including Salman - are in a town called Mandawa since a week, shooting his solo sequences. Nawazuddin will be there for about a month before returning to Mumbai in the first week of February, to promote his next, Badlapur," says an insider.
With the film lined up for an Eid release - which is considered Salman's bastion at the box office - Kabir and his team are expected to shoot without a break till the film is completed. "After finishing the portions in Rajasthan, the team will travel to Kashmir for a month-long schedule. Nawazuddin will join the cast there," adds the insider.
The schedule in Mandawa - which is famous for its havelis and magnificent structures - is an important one since a few key scenes, along with high-octane sequences featuring Salman and Nawazuddin, will be shot here. Salman, who had been hosting a reality show, had to bow out of its season finale since his dates were blocked for this schedule. The film happens to be his maiden production venture.
