Mumbai, April 27 -- American director Paul Feig, who has previously helmed the comedy TV show Arrested Development and the 2011 hit movie Bridesmaids, has an international ensemble cast for his upcoming film, Spy.
And joining the likes of Miranda Hart, Jude Law and Jason Statham from the UK, Rose Byrne from Australia, and Curtis Jackson (aka 50 Cent ) and Melissa McCarthy from the US, is Bollywood actor Nargis Fakhri.
"There are so many actors worldwide that I've been dying to work with. And Nargis has been on the top of my list," says Feig. So what made him pick the actor? "She is cool, funny and drop-dead gorgeous, which ironically are three adjectives that have been used to describe me. So, I feel a special kinship with her," the director replies.
Nargis, on her part, is said to be excited to be part of such a project, according to a source close to the actor. The film went on the floors in Budapest, Hungary, on March 31 this year and will release internationally on May 22, 2015.
