New Delhi, March 27 -- Model-turned-actor Mugdha Godse, who, plays a housewife from Delhi in her next, is kicked about her role.
A source close to the actor says that Mugdha is absolutely loving the experience of wearing those very-Delhi sarwar kameez ensembles and has even been talking in the Delhi lingo to perfect her act.
"Mugdha made sure she got the diction correct and while she is usually seen in her tee and denims, for the entire shoot, both on and off screen she religiously wore salwar suits," says a source close to the actor, adding, "Mugdha has never played a housewife on screen and she didn't want the character to look fake, so to give it a personal touch, she studied women in Delhi to imbibe the way they talk with a typical North Indian accent."
Asked about the experience, an excited Mugdha says, "It's been a lovely journey with this film, playing a Delhi housewife. Learning the accent was utterly fun and we shot in Delhi during winters, which was a bliss," says the Pune girl, who's acted in films including Fashion (2008), All the Best: Fun Begins (2009) and Heroine (2012).
