New Delhi, June 18 -- Model-turned-actor Mugdha Godse says she is in a happy space with four films in her kitty, which are all women-centric movies.
"This is a good time to be in the film industry, as it has become open to experimental cinema. Even audience has become more accepting of women-centric films. We have to give credit to Vidya Balan and Kangana Ranuat for making women-oriented films mainstream,' says the Fashion actor.
The 27-year-old doesn't shy away from the fact that she had to wait for films to come her way. "Yes, I had to wait, but it was worth it. Now, I have four films with meaty roles in each of them," she says, adding, "While one is with Sneha Ullal, I play an obsessed lover in the other, and then, there are two more."
However, this 'waiting' period didn't affect her spirit. "I left my home at 18, as I didn't want a 9-to5 job. So, that whole journey has made me a strong person. And when tough times come, I know it's just a phase, which too shall pass," she says, adding she's always learning something. "I'm a sucker for knowledge. Also, what many people not know about me is that I don't talk too much. People mistake that for an attitude, but it's just that I don't talk unnecessarily," she says.
