New Delhi, May 28 -- Actor-anchor turned designer Mandira Bedi, who is known for her fit frame and vivacious personality, says fitness for her is top priority.
"For me, fitness is the most important thing in my life, I don't believe in crash diets. In a 24 hour day, 45 minutes for exercise should come easy," says Bedi, who is a mother of a four-year-old, Vir. She adds, "I don't exercise to look good, but to remain strong and fit."
The actor also loves gymming. "I prefer gym over yoga. I love running, spinning and doing cardiovascular exercises in the gym. But yes, power yoga has helped me a lot to look good."
The 43-year-old adds, "Usually I work out five days a week. I do strength training and cardio for about 40 minutes to get a toned look. But I also take a break from regular workout for about three to four days after every 20 to 25 days. The body needs rest too."
