Mumbai, Sept. 1 -- Indo-Canadian model and actor, Lisa Ray, who was diagnosed with multiple myeloma (cancer of the white blood cells) in 2009, and had announced her recovery in 2010, has decided to pen down her battle against the disease.
"It's an autobiography. I picked up a lot of stories along the way [while battling against cancer]. It will include the twists and turns of my life, and how my family and friends supported me," says Lisa.
She tells us that she has been working on the project for quite some time now, and has been trying to place her life incidents in chronological order.
"I will finish my book soon. I have been writing it for three years. It's my personal story and it is also inspired by my life in India," says Lisa, who is planning to settle down permanently in Mumbai in October this year.
