New Delhi, Feb. 20 -- Actor Lisa Haydon, who was last seen on the big screen in Rascals (2011), says there are many reasons for her absence. "I don't think good offers came my way after Rascals (2011). And a little bit of everything has kept me away (from films). I like to do a little bit of modelling, a bit of anchoring TV shows and a bit of movies," she says.
And, then, of course, there is competition from other actors, too, she admits. "With so many actors around in the industry, I don't think people expect me to do four films a year. So it becomes obvious for me to do selective films. In 2012 and 2013, I shot for two films. Both the films are up for release now," says Haydon, who'll soon be seen hosting AXN Thrillionaire Awards.
This model-turned-actor, who herself is considered a Bollywood hottie, finds actor Vidya Balan quite appealing. "I like Vidya Balan. There is a lot in her that makes her sexy and I really enjoy her films," she says. And while she does a little bit of everything, it's travelling that she feels is the biggest perk of being in her profession. "I love travelling. And anyone who is working in a profession like ours, tends to have a nomadic lifestyle. I therefore love calling myself a gypsy," says the 27-year-old actor, who debuted in Bollywood with Aisha, 2010.
