New Delhi, Sept. 22 -- While there are many who get cold feet at the altar or a few days prior to their wedding, actor Kunal Kapoor can't wait to tie the knot with Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan's niece, Naina.
The couple got engaged at the beginning of this year and are excited about taking the relationship to the next level. "We are delighted to get married to each other. We have known each other for a while now," says Kunal. There were reports that the couple will tie the knot by the end of this year. Kapoor, however, denies it. "We will wed soon but nothing has been decided as of now," he says.
The actor, who has always been tight-lipped about his private life, says that he has been this way from the beginning. "I've never been someone who has liked to share. I'm a very private person," he says.
Meanwhile, the Rang De Basanti actor has just finished shooting his upcoming film which talks about the grave water problems in the country. The mix of a social message intertwined with an entertaining story was what drove the actor to sign the film.
"I had a good time shooting for the film. It was one of the most unique scripts that I have read. It talks about the water issue, which is very important right now...it has a love story in the backdrop, which makes it entertaining," says the 36-year-old, adding that the film is commercially viable. "It's a commercial film and very entertaining. I feel it is something which everyone will enjoy. It is a film which entertains you as well as makes you think," says Kapoor.
