New Delhi, Oct. 3 -- Kunal Kapoor, who is actively engaged in helping those affected by the Kashmir floods, hopes that people don't forget about the destruction, even after the media stops reporting about it.
The actor emphasises on the fact that the victims will take some time to recuperate from the tragedy and will need all the help which they can get. "If something dies down in the media, then even people let it die down. I am hoping that it (J&K tragedy) doesn't die down. People don't have homes and food. Even though the government has stepped in, it is a long process. We need to help them build their homes again," says Kunal.
The actor has partnered with an NGO help raise money for the flood victims. He is very happy with the response he has got and hopes that people continue to contribute as much as they can. "The response we have got is fantastic. Everyone has been helping out. I hope more people come on board to help the cause," he says.
While there are many celebrities like Abhishek Bachchan, Dia Mirza and Nargis Fakhri who have joined the cause, Kunal wants more people to come on board. "This is not just for the celebrities. I hope that more individuals come on board and reach out to the victims," he says.
