Kriti Sanon: You just need a team that believes in you..

Mumbai, Aug. 17 -- Kriti Sanon's next project, Bareilly Ki Barfi, will see her sharing screen space with Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkummar Rao, but this isn't the first time she has worked in a multi-starrer project.
The actor was featured alongside Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Varun Dhawan in Dilwale (2015). Ask her if she is prepared to shoulder the responsibility of a film, and she says, "I don't know how you find out if you're ready or not. If the script is exciting enough, if the character appeals to you and the director believes in you, then you can do anything. I am not someone who would restrict myself to a boundary. I think there is no right time to do something that you'd never imagined you'd get. In fact, that is the challenge and the thrill of doing a film. You just need a team that believes in you and a script that you believe in."
When asked if she would ever compromise on the script or the screen time of a role in order to work with certain people, Kriti says, "I wouldn't exactly call it compromise, but sometimes it is important to be a part of certain projects or work with certain people who are so talented that they help you bring out something [performance] that even you don't expect. The length of the role doesn't matter much, but it matters how important a role is."
The Heropanti (2014) actor says, "The character should be important enough to add life to a scene. What matters is the experience of working with talented people who sometimes make you surprise yourself and help you grow as an actor. Sometimes, even observing them can be a learning experience."
