Hrithik-Katrina: Dance, drama, fanfare, action!

Katrina Kaif

New Delhi, Sept. 28 -- Two of Bollywood's biggest stars, Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif, with director Siddharth Anand, met some of their biggest fans at HT City Stars in the City. The actors spoke about their upcoming film Bang Bang in a chat with Sonal Kalra, National Editor - Entertainment & Lifestyle, Hindustan Times.

Hrithik, in some of your earlier interviews, you had said that this is one of your toughest films in a way. And then, in some other interviews, you have also said that this movie eventually turned out to be one of the easiest that you have done. So, what do you have to say about the contrast of the two statements?

Hrithik: Bang Bang was a challenging film. During its shoot, I had hurt my head, I got a blood clot in my head and there was a lot going on in my personal life. So, it seemed as if it was going to be the toughest film that I was going to do. But once you clear your mind and just concentrate on doing your best, things can become easy. When I landed on the sets, it actually turned out to be one of my easiest films.

Katrina, are you aware that there are Facebook pages which say that you have never looked as beautiful as you look in Bang Bang? Did you have doubts about your look in the film and is the look any different than what you have done in the past?

Katrina: There are two distinct looks that I carry in the film. One is what you see in the songs, which is more fun and glamorous, and then there is the look that reflects a very simple girl. Yes, I do look different from my other films.

Siddharth, was it a conscious decision to not go to every possible television show to promote your film?

Siddharth: I think it's a brave decision. TV is a very strong medium right now, but we had confidence in our final product. The audience has also appreciated the teasers, and the songs too have become quite popular.
