Mumbai, Aug. 14 -- He will be making his full-fledged acting debut in Anurag Kashyap's Bombay Velvet later this year, but filmmaker Karan Johar already has more offers to star in films.
Of late, talks have been rife that he had been approached to play Alia Bhatt's father - a Sindhi businessman - in Vikas Bahl's next, which also stars Shahid Kapoor.
The latest reports suggest that after he turned down the offer the first time, the makers went back to him a second time.
However, Karan clarifies the rumours, saying, "No, I'm not doing the film. I was briefly in talks (about the role) at a very initial stage. I am sure when the cast for Vikas's film is announced, it will be a terrific one, but I am not a part of it. I think only once Bombay Velvet releases should people decide on offering me more films. I don't think anybody should take a chance till then."
Interestingly, the same role was also offered to another director, Sajid Khan, but he also turned it down since he is busy working on his next film.
