Mumbai, Nov. 1 -- Jacqueline Fernandez, who is currently shooting for her international film in Canada, will return to the city on November 8, and will begin rehearsing for her role in Karan Johar's next. Interestingly, the film-maker will personally train the actor during a week-long workshop before beginning the shoot.
While Sidharth Malhotra has already started shooting, Jacqueline's schedule begins from November 13. "Before she joins the unit, Karan wanted her to work on her character. He had asked Jacqueline to take time out to attend the workshops with him. Karan will himself train her at his office for a week before she starts shooting," says a source close to the actor.
During the sessions, Jacqueline will work on her diction and body language. "She plays a Christian wife in the film. She is required to speak English with a thick Goan accent, and will be styled in a way that suits the character. She will also be given references to understand the nuances of her role. Both Karan and Jacqueline want to ensure that she is well-prepared for her part before the shooting commences," adds the source.
In fact, because of the workshop, Jacqueline will not be able to take a break between her two projects. "She will start the workshop the day she returns to Mumbai. The schedule will go on for 20 days," says the source.
When contacted, Jacqueline confirms the news, saying, "It will be fun working with Karan on this film. There's a lot to learn and I look forward to the acting sessions."
