Mumbai, Dec. 28 -- Kangana Ranaut, who plays an athlete in Aanand L Rai's next, has become extremely fitness conscious. The actor is particular about doing yoga for an hour daily, and even on the sets of the film in Haryana and Delhi, she's been preaching about its importance to the crew.
Even the winter chill and early morning shoots have failed to deter her. "We would start shooting at 6 am to capture the fog. Considering the cold weather, this wasn't an easy task. But, we found out that Kangana would wake up a couple of hours early to practise yoga, and she did this throughout the schedule," says Rai.
The film-maker adds that Kangana tried to get him to practise yoga with her. He says, "She told me about the importance of doing it, and asked me to try it out. I told her it won't make sense as I couldn't resist the good food at both locations."
As a result of her routine, the crew was able to wrap up the schedule in advance. Rai explains, "We started mid-November, and were to wrap up in the first week of January. But thanks to her energy levels, Kangana would be on the sets all day, looking at the developments. Seeing her, even the team was motivated to work harder, and we finished before Christmas."
