New Delhi, July 26 -- Kangana Ranaut recently completed a script-writing course from New York, and the 27-year-old actor plans to expand her horizons. Does that mean she'd quit acting? "The course was a wonderful experience. I'm not going to stick around acting all my life. I'll move on and do other things. My ideology is that once I've experienced something for long enough, I want to move on and experience something new," says Kangana, who recently walked the ramp at a fashion week in the Capital, for designer Anju Modi.
The actor is also one of the few in Bollywood to give a damn to rumours about her. "I don't read newspapers because one tends to get tangled in what's written about him or her. I believe in the saying: Out of sight, out of mind. If someone has said or written something about me which I don't agree with, I'm not on social networks to clarify my stand. But that's because I know I'll go crazy and won't be able to concentrate on my work if I start responding to rumours. So, for me, if you don't see the problem, it doesn't exist."
Ask her about her friends in the industry, and Kangana says, "There's a lot of amazing talent and some of them are nice people. I don't meet them because I come into the bad category. My cocoon is with the bad people."
