Mumbai, Feb. 10 -- Last year, when Kangana Ranaut was pursuing her screenplay writing course in New York, USA, she befriended some of her batchmates, who come from different countries. And now, she has invited a few of them to visit her on the sets of Tanu Weds Manu Returns with director Aanand L Rai.
Apparently, her friends had asked her to invite them during one of shoots. "During the course, some of her batchmates were exposed to her work as an actor, and asked her to invite them on the sets whenever she shoots outside India," says a source close to the actor.
The London schedule of Rai's film will commence next week, and Kangana is looking forward to a reunion of sorts with them. "Kangana was heard saying that her friends wanted to watch her shoot for a film, and that they also wanted to understand the process of film-making," adds the source.
The actor asked Aanand for permission, and the director obliged. When contacted, he confirmed the news, saying, "Kangana wanted her friends to visit the sets during our London schedule. She had asked me. We are looking forward to the shoot there."
