New Delhi, Sept. 30 -- Kangana Ranaut and Irrfan Khan are set to work in an Indo-French film that will be helmed by director Sai Kabir. When the members of the film's French team - co-producer Leonard Glowinski and Film France COO, Franck Priot - were in Mumbai recently, the actors made it a point to show them around.
The Indian crew took the French filmmakers to Mohammad Ali Road, in Mumbai, for a gastronomic treat. "Kangana, Irrfan and Sai thought this would be quite a unique experience for them," says a source close to the actors.
According to a source close to the studio producing the movie, the Indian team made an impromptu decision to give them a not-so-conventional dinner treat. "The actors accompanied the director and took Leonard and Franck to treat them with typical delicacies of Mohammad Ali Road," says the insider, adding, "They spent quite some time together, discussing a number of aspects of the film over dinner, and also had tea from a tea-vendor on a cycle."
When contacted, Sai confirms the news, saying, "I was very excited to be at Mohammed Ali Road with our French friends. We went and explored the lanes in the area and had some amazing food. It was a very different experience for Leonard and Franck. We ended our day by visiting the Minara Masjid."
