Mumbai, Nov. 1 -- Kangana Ranaut will be seen playing a nautch girl in her next, Rajjo, which has been directed by Vishwas Patil. The film is releasing along with Ram-Leela (on November 15) and, according to the actor, the makers had no option but to clash with the Deepika Padukone- Ranveer Singh starrer.
There isn't much buzz around Rajjo and Kangana admits it too. The actor, however, confesses that they had no dates till mid-next year and, if not with Ram-Leela, the film would not have released at all. "Ram-Leela is a highly anticipated film. We didn't get any other suitable date because there are continuous releases till mid-next year. That's why we had to go with this," says Kangana.
The actor only hopes to recover the money invested in the film. "Comparisons are natural, but this was our situation. The film is good and we know that. It should be able to recover money," she says.
However, the actor says that the failure or success of Rajjo won't affect her career.
Kangana says, "For someone working for seven years in the industry, I understand that you get better opportunities irrespective of your film's success or failure. As far as Rajjo is concerned, I think filmmaking is an art and it is not possible for everyone to like it (a film)."
