New Delhi, Oct. 14 -- Actor John Abraham, who owns a team in the ongoing football league, is quite enthusiastic about his club's participation in the tournament.
We have been told that the actor has spaced out his shoots in such a way that it doesn't clash with his team's match schedule. He wants to be with his team and encourage the players.
And, to ensure that he finishes his acting commitments before the league commences, an industry insider tells us that John is spending long hours at work. "He is trying to sort things out before the league starts. He is currently busy with director Anees Bazmee's film and his own production," says a source.
The actor is currently shooting his parts in Bazmee's film - a sequel to Welcome (2007) - so that the crew can continue to shoot in his absence.
"Bazmee will have a 10-day schedule in Dubai and he will wrap up most of the other portions with the remaining members of the cast," says the source.
When contacted, the director confirms the development, saying that he has finished the Mumbai schedule of the film with the 41-year-old Madras Cafe actor recently.
"John is not going to Dubai with us, and we have sorted all the dates with him," says Bazmee.
