Mumbai, April 14 -- Bollywood actor Jimmy Sheirgill, who acted alongside Kangana Ranaut and R Madhavan in Tanu Weds Manu (2011), is all set to reprise his role in the film's sequel.
Last month, he was supposed to join the lead pair - Kangana and Madhavan - in Haryana for the shoot of the film's sequel. While most of the cast and crew flew to the airport closest to the district of Jhajjar (where they were shooting), and then reached the set in cars, Jimmy decided to make a road trip out of his journey.
The actor has recently purchased a sport utility vehicle or an SUV. Unfortunately, due to his busy schedule, he has barely got a chance to take his new car for a spin. So to make the most of this work trip to Haryana, Jimmy decided to drive his SUV from Mumbai to a small town in Jhajjar district.
"Jimmy also feels that the traffic situation in Mumbai makes driving more of a chore," says a source, adding that it took the actor a few days to reach the location.
"He hit the road a few days before the cast and crew were scheduled to leave so everyone reached around the same time. He really enjoyed the drive. Even in Jhajjar, he used to drive to the set and back in his personal car."
Confirming the story, Jimmy said, "Whenever I have an outdoor shoot of more than 10 days, I prefer to drive down there as I love it."
