Mumbai, Feb. 2 -- In her first film itself (Aladin; 2009), Jacqueline Fernandez got an opportunity to share screen space with megastar Amitabh Bachchan. She then followed it up with films that also featured big stars like Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, among others. The actor admits that working in films that boast of popular names is important for her.
"You have to be part of big movies that have established actors. Working with them helps one grow. I learnt a lot when I did my first movie with Amitabh Bachchan. At the same time, Saif has helped me a lot. He gave me advice on my dialogue delivery without being preachy," she says.
However, while signing a film, another thing that matters to Jacqueline is the director of the film. "My priority while signing a film is that the director should be good," she informs.
But quiz her about her decision to do films with first-time directors such as Sajid Nadiadwala (Kick; 2014) and Vikramjit Singh (Roy), she explains, "It is important how they narrate the story to me, and how appealing I find them."
