Mumbai, April 5 -- A host of Bollywood celebrities, including Sonali Bendre, Farah Khan and Madhuri Dixit Nene, among others, have judged television reality shows.
But, recently, Isha Koppikar refused to judge a Marathi television dance reality show despite it being a lucrative offer.
"She was approached for the reality show in mid-March and was offered a significant amount. The show officials wanted a film celebrity to judge it. But, Isha did not accept the offer and cited date issues, as she is working on a Kannada film directed by Girish Kamplapur," says a source close to the actor.
She has shot most parts of the film, but there is still some production work left to be done.
"The show officials wanted her to start shooting in April, but as she has to complete the film around the same time, she opted out," adds the source.
We have also been told that Isha has a couple of scripts from south film-makers in hand and is investing time in reading them.
When contacted, Isha confirmed the news, saying, "Yes, I was approached to be part of a Marathi TV show, but could not take it up as I am busy with films down south."
