Mumbai, Jan. 8 -- Imran Khan, who is not shooting for any film currently, preferred being at home this New Year's Eve rather than partying or vacationing.
The actor has been keeping himself busy with his late grandfather, film-maker Nasir Hussain's movies for a while now. "While Imran has grown up watching these films, he likes to watch them over and over again. He is really fond of the manner of storytelling and the old-world charm in his movies," says a source close to Imran.
Apart from watching films, Imran has also been spending a lot of time with his seven-month-old daughter, Imara. When contacted, Imran says, "It was a special New Year for both Avantika (Malik; wife) and me. We were at home most of the time, spending time with our daughter. I watched a lot of my grandad's films such as Teesri Manzil (1966), Yaadon Ki Baaraat (1973), Tumsa Nahin Dekha (1957) and Dil Deke Dekho (1959). It was like a movie marathon."
