Mumbai, Nov. 26 -- Hrithik Roshan's recent shoulder injury has delayed the shoot of film-maker Ashutosh Gowarikar's next film. According to reports, the actor's doctor had advised him to rest for six weeks and avoid working out, after he hurt himself in the gym last month.
But because Hrithik doesn't want to delay the shoot even further, he has started exercising under the strict guidance of his trainer.
"Hrithik needs to achieve a lean physique for the period drama. To get the desired look, his trainer had planned a particular regimen for him, but now it is being changed around to accommodate exercises that don't strain his shoulder. He has started working on his lower body now," says a source. Ashutosh was set to take his film on the floors in November, however, it is scheduled to start in January 2015 now.
While Hrithik remained unavailable for a comment, his spokesperson confirmed the news, saying, "He is certain that if he maintains his current pace of working out, he will be able to get into the required shape by January."
