Mumbai, April 7 -- For a few weeks now, Hrithik Roshan has been busy shooting in Bhuj, Gujarat, for Ashutosh Gowariker's next.
But the actor is also set to perform at the opening ceremony of the Indian Premier League today (April 7). Since he was caught up with his film shoot, he wasn't being able to find the time to rehearse for the same. So he came up with a solution.
"Hrithik got a senior assistant from choreographer-film-maker Remo D'Souza's team (Remo is choreographing Hrithik's act) to travel to Bhuj, so that he could rehearse after pack up every day. He practised with the assistant for over 10 days for the act," says an insider.
While the actor couldn't be reached for a comment, Remo confirmed the news, saying, "One of my assistants travelled to Bhuj. It's a treat to watch Hrithik perform, but it's a bigger treat to work with him. He will perform for eight minutes at the ceremony."
Remo also admitted that while Hrithik is a phenomenal dancer, choreographing him isn't a cakewalk. "It becomes challenging for me because with Hrithik I have to go a step ahead, considering he has done almost all kinds of steps till now," he says.
