Mumbai, July 1 -- Hrithik Roshan, who is currently busy completing Bang Bang with Katrina Kaif, is set to begin shooting for Ashutosh Gowariker's period film next.
After these projects, however, we've been told that the actor is keen on taking up more experimental roles. A close friend of Hrithik's reveals, "He is keen on doing more films, but he won't take up something that doesn't match his sensibilities. He wants people to know that, as an actor, he is willing to experiment with roles - something he did very early on in his career. He already has an interesting line-up of films and is now open to more work."
We're also told that contrary to perception, Hrithik doesn't insist on working with only established directors. "Hrithik has never shied away from working with new names. Back in the day, too, he did Fiza (2000), which was just his second film. He feels that the young lot of directors is very creative. So if he's offered something edgy that can make him test his capabilities, he's willing to do it," says the friend.
In fact, the actor may be going in for a strategy change too. His friend says, "Given the way his films are shaping up, he's very excited to be back on the big screen, so he wishes to do more than one film a year."
