Mumbai, May 28 -- On a day when several Bollywood actors were in the Capital to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Hrithik Roshan was in the city too, but for a different reason.
He, along with his father, film-maker Rakesh Roshan, sister Sunaina and mother Pinky came for the launch of Sunaina's book that she's penned on her dad's life. As the Roshan family took to the stage to unveil the book, To Dad, With Love, and address the media, they only spoke about the book, with the media not being given an opportunity to ask questions about Hrithik's split with his wife of 13 years, Sussanne.
The 40-year-old actor dodged the issue, saying, "This is my sister's day," even as he turned to Sunaina every now and then to say, "Didi this is your day." Hrithik also avoided one-on-one media interactions, and left the venue soon after. When Sunaina was asked to comment on Sussanne's absence, considering Hrithik is on good terms with his estranged wife, her reply was, "I have come here to speak about my father, not my brother. And yes, I am missing someone - my daughter. I wish she was here today."
