New Delhi, July 27 -- Bollywood is known for its camps and cliques, but of late, everyone seems to be getting along. Multiple teasers and trailers have released recently, and actors have been appreciating each other's work on Twitter.
Hrithik Roshan praised Priyanka Chopra's look in the trailer of Mary Kom biopic by tweeting, "Outstanding!! go girl!!..." And Priyanka returned the compliment with, "Love the teaser of Bang Bang!! Katrina @iHrithik and Siddharth anand!! Killing it!!! (sic)". Bang Bang's teaser got more appreciation from Sonam Kapoor: "Why are they so good looking!... This is too hot! (sic)," she tweeted. Hrithik, too, praised the tailer of Sonam's next.
Karan Johar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Varun Dhawan, Dhanush, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Rajkummar Rao, among others, have also put in a good word about their peers' work. Trade analyst Komal Nahta says, "There are some who are genuine. In some tweets, there is the you-scratch-my back-I-scratch-yours attitude, or it's done to influence people. People catch that as they, too, have seen the trailers or teasers to come to a judgment on their own. If there is lavish, but undue praise then they know it's fake. People are very smart." Trade analyst Taran Adarsh adds, "There is healthy competition among stars today, but they also respect each other. When stars say something good, people feel there is an agenda, but when they say something bad, people feel they are bitching about each other."
