Shah Rukh Khan and Farhan Akhtar are set for their next venture - Raees.
Directed by Rahul Dholakia, the film will bring Shah Rukh Khan and Farhan Akhtar in the same frame for the first time. Shah Rukh will play a bootlegger and filmmaker-turned-actor Farhan Akhtar a cop in Rahul Dholakia's Raees.
Raees is slated to go on floor in mid-2014 and will hit the silver screens on Eid 2015.
"Shooting for this film will begin from mid next year. Shahrukh will be playing a bootlegger and Farhan a policeman. It is an interesting story," Dholakia said.
This is for the first time that Shah Rukh and Farhan will be sharing the screen space. They had worked together for the remake version of Don and its sequel Don 2, where Farhan was involved in the project as a producer while SRK played the main lead.
Produced by Excel Entertainment, Raees is likely to release on Eid in 2015, said director Rahul Dholakia.
