Mumbai, May 1 -- Dance choreographer turned- director Farah Khan, whose fourth directorial venture, starring her good friend Shah Rukh Khan, is set to release this year, got nostalgic recently. And the reason was that Farah completed a decade as a director on Wednesday (April 30).
Her directorial debut, Main Hoon Na, had hit the theatres on the same day in 2004. The film, which featured Shah Rukh, Sushmita Sen, Zayed Khan, Amrita Rao and Suniel Shetty, scored well at the box office and had hit music as well.
"I'm feeling very nostalgic. I can't believe it has completed 10 years. It still seems so fresh, and that's why it's unbelievable. I have been receiving messages from Amrita, Shah Rukh and Manish Malhotra. Anu Malik (the music composer of the film) was with me yesterday," says Farah.
As a nod to the good old memories, Shah Rukh tweeted about one of the popular scenes from the film. It said, "Chaand mera Dil....Chandni ho tum.... Chaand se hai door Chandni kahaan. To all my lady teachers....Chemistry History & Mystery...I love u. (sic)."
It's interesting that on her current project, Farah is working with the same crew that was part of the 2004 film. She says, "Most of the crew members who worked on Main Hoon Na are working on my upcoming film too. I guess we will celebrate it by working harder on the movie."
