Mumbai, March 23 -- Be it walking the ramp at a charity fashion show or performing at concerts, Bollywood celebrities proactively participate in charitable endeavours.
And the recent shining examples are that of film-makers Farah Khan and Karan Johar deciding to donate their entire prize money - of 11.5 lakh - won on Shah Rukh Khan's reality show.
Farah is associated with a Mumbai-based NGO, SNEHA - Society for Nutrition, Education and Health Action, which works for health issues of women and children in urban slums.
The money Farah and Karan will donate to the organisation will go towards the betterment of women and children living in Dharavi, Mumbai.
"I don't like to talk about the charities I do, but I'm associated with SNEHA, and I support them in whatever capacity I can. I am grateful to Karan that he has agreed to donate his share of the prize money as well," says Farah.
