Mumbai, Jan. 10 -- On the eve of her 50th birthday on January 8 (Thursday), Farah Khan hosted a lavish bash at her Lokhandwala residence, which had several Bollywood A-listers in attendance. Unfortunately, the film-maker had a run-in with the cops later that night.
A source tells us, "The party, was raided after locals complained to the police." Confirming the news, Subash Vele, senior police inspector at Oshiwara police station said, "The police control room received a call from a local resident around 12.30 am, complaining about loud music being played. A team of police officials from Oshiwara police visited the place, and found that they did not have the required permission to play the music. They were asked to stop playing the music and a fine of 5,000 was levied."
We tried contacting Farah, but she was unavailable for a comment.
