Mumbai, May 24 -- That Emraan Hashmi has been signed for an international project is well known. The film, White Lies, is being helmed by Oscar winning film-maker Danis Tanovic, who has directed the 2001 hit No Man's Land in the past.
But lately, reports have been doing the rounds that the film, which has already been shot, isn't finding any distributors. It has also been suggested that there is no update on the film besides that there are some 'issues with the funds'.
However, the makers are amused with the reports. When contacted, producer Guneet Monga says, "We are happy to be producing Danis and Emraan's next presentation. And we are delighted with the way it has shaped up and will be making an announcement shortly. It will be a game changer."
Apparently, Danis will arrive in Mumbai soon to finish post-production work on the film and also discuss the next step with Emraan and the producers. "The film is on track. With the principal photography complete, it is currently in the post-production stage - both in India and abroad. And the rest of the details will be revealed soon," adds a source from the unit.
Currently, Emraan is shooting for Kunal Deshmukh's next besides shuttling between Canada and Mumbai, where his son Ayaan is getting his some medical treatment.
