Mumbai, Aug. 31 -- Elli Avram and Salman Khan's camaraderie on a reality show, which was hosted by the latter and was aired last year, is known to all. She may not have won the show, but a year later, the Swedish-Greek actor confirms that she is in talks with him for a project.
"I'm in touch with Salman. He has planned something with me," says Elli, who made her Bollywood debut with Mickey Virus last year. She, however, remains guarded about the plans. When asked if she'll be seen as Salman's leading lady, she says, "I can't talk much about it, but there is definitely something."
Salman not only roped in his own manager to look after her work, but his and Elli's chemistry became the talking point after he went on record comparing her mannerisms - especially her broken-Hindi accent - with his alleged ex, Katrina Kaif. "My Hindi has improved a lot. In fact, I now find is easier to talk in Hindi than English," says Elli.
She says that she is working hard to improve her acting skills. "I'm doing a lot of things including perfecting my Hindi and taking private acting sessions. Films are my priority now, says the actor.
The actor's friendship with wrestler Sangram Singh and VJ Andy became popular during the reality show. When asked about them, she says, "I'm still in touch with both of them, but more with Andy because he is my neighbour and we catch up regularly. Sangramji lives far away so we talk once in a while. We all even caught up at (actors and co-contestants) Tanisha (Mukerji) and Armaan's (Kohli) party," she says.
