Mumbai, Aug. 13 -- Deepika Padukone is not open to talking about her personal life and she made that clear at a recent press conference, where she refrained from answering questions regarding her alleged boyfriend, Ranveer Singh.
As the event was organised for her upcoming film, Finding Fanny - that also stars Ranveer in a cameo - questions about their relationship could not be averted. One of the queries posed was whether Deepika will be seen in a cameo in Zoya Akhtar's next that was being shot in Spain and has Ranveer in the lead (since they were spotted in the country recently)?
"I don't do cameos. It's irrelevant to this event, right? I will talk to you later [about the topic]," the actor responded to a journalist with a smile. The next question was whether she had persuaded Ranveer to do a cameo in her film? "I don't have a say in casting," said Deepika, prodding co-star Arjun Kapoor to respond to the query.
And, Arjun replied, "It's fun when people go out and do things on a whim, without thinking too much. It was great fun that he was part of it."
Later, director of the film, Homi Adajania, also stepped in, adding, "Deepika had no idea that Ranveer was doing the cameo. Once, during a casual meeting, he asked me what I was working on and checked if he can do a cameo. He is a super guy. He came for a half-day shoot, but he stayed back for 10 days. Deepika had no clue about it."
