New Delhi, May 20 -- The Deepika Padukone starrer, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (YJHD), released on May 31 a year ago, and the actor had planned to throw a party for her co-stars to celebrate the anniversary.
But since she's off for a month-long family vacation, it looks like the celebration won't take place.
A source close to the actor says, "Deepika was keen on celebrating the film's anniversary. She wanted a get-together for the team - filmmaker Karan Johar, actors Kalki Koechlin, Ranbir Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur, and director Ayan Mukerji - as they had grown close while shooting. But she is going for a family vacation and the party won't be possibile."
The film was one of the four ' 100 crore blockbusters that Deepika starred in last year. The actor has decided to take some time off to unwind before her schedule gets packed again.
The source adds, "It has been a busy year for Deepika and before she starts another shooting schedule, she decided to take this trip."
We're told that on her return in June, she will try to get the co-stars together for a small gathering. However, that may be unlikely as Aditya and Kalki will have their respective films to shoot for, and Deepika will start her next with Ranbir in July.
