Mumbai, Dec. 1 -- There have been several reports about how Bollywood stars have time and again gone abroad just to shop. Now, while Deepika Padukone hardly has the time to plan exclusive shopping trips like these, she did manage to spend an entire day collecting artworks and home decor items from Marrakech, Morocco, while she was there on a work trip.
Deepika, who attended the Marrakech International Film Festival for the screening of her latest release, Goliyon Ki Rasleela RamLeela, has taken time out to shop in the city.
"Deepika reached Marrakech on the night of November 28. She attended the screening of her film on the following day. She was to take her flight to Mumbai on the evening of November 30, so she made shopping plans during the day," says a source close to the actor. The actor was heard saying that after her screening, she would go and explore places in the city and pick home decor items like table lamps, candle stands and artworks, the source tells us.
Confirming the news, her spokesperson says, "Moroccan interiors and designs are one of her favourites and she was keen to spend some time shopping for her house."
