Mumbai, Aug. 25 -- David Dhawan has just added one more name to his ever-growing list of friends. Though director Mohit Suri and the film-maker have never worked together, the duo has now formed a pact - Dhawan will take Mohit out for dinner after every successful film he delivers at the box office.
The first time Dhawan treated Mohit to dinner was after Aashiqui 2 (2013), and then again after Ek Villian was declared a hit. "This time around, the entire Dhawan family - along with Varun - was present, as was Mohit's wife, Udita Goswami," says a source.
When contacted, Mohit confirms the development. He says, "I didn't even know him when Aashiqui 2 released. He was among the first people to call and say that he liked the film. He took me out for dinner, and he did that again after Ek Villain. I love meeting him, and talking to him. He comes from a different era, and it is very encouraging when someone so senior likes your work."
