New Delhi, Nov. 19 -- Actor Celina Jaitly, who has been living in Singapore and Dubai with her husband Peter Haag after their marriage in 2004, will be in India later this month, to research for her role of a narcotic officer in an upcoming film, we are told.
"Celina has been offered the role of a hardcore narcotics officer in a Punjabi film. She wants to understand the nuances of her character. As it's a Punjabi film, she is flying down to Chandigarh in the coming days to study the beahviourial patterns of the offices in Punjab," says a source.
The movie, which deals with the serious problem of drug addiction and drug mafia, would also mark Celina's debut into Punjabi film industry.
Celina is also a UN Equality Champion and has been associated with several humanitarian causes. "Celina had turned down the offer for the film initially, but then she thought it was for a good cause and she took it up. She is currently in Dubai, celebrating her husband's birthday, and would come to India from there," says the source.
Interestingly, the source also told us that she has been "offered the sequel to the 2005 film No Entry".
