New Delhi, May 1 -- Father-son duo of actor Boman Irani and Kayoze Irani will be sharing screen space together for the first time for an upcoming film.
The production, which will be directed by Manish Jha, also stars Arshad Warsi and Aditi Rao. Interestingly, Boman and Kayoze are not playing baap-beta in the film. "Both father and son have full-fledged roles in the film. The chemistry between them is also very good," Jha says.
"When I was editing the film, I realised that it's a case of perfect casting. There was never a dull moment on the sets," says Jha. While Boman plays a character called Full Pant; Kayoze goes by the name of Half Pant.
When asked about casting the father and son, Jha reveals, "I couldn't sleep the night before I was to give a script narration to Boman. But my apprehensions disappeared once I met him. Despite being an established actor, he's extremely down-toearth." The son, too, Jha says, is a brilliant actor. "I saw him in Student Of The Year (2012) and knew he fit the part and cast him without an audition," says Jha. Boman, known for doing comic roles, made his acting debut with Everybody Says I'm Fine in 2001.
