New Delhi, March 6 -- International Women's Day that'll be celebrated across the globe this Sunday could not have been more meaningful for actor Bhagyashree because on that day, she will kick start a project for the welfare of the girl child.
A source close to the 45-year-old actor says that the cause has always been very close to her heart so she is extremely thrilled to have finally got the opportunity to work on this initiative. "Bhagyashree has always been a supporter of women's empowerment and protecting the rights of the girl child. So now she has taken her thought ahead in the form of an initiative whereby she will raise funds for the education and development of young girls," says the source.
Confirming the development, Bhagyashree, says, "It's great to be associated with a cause I feel so deeply about and to lend my name to it is even better. I am hoping this becomes a reason for many girls to have a better outlook towards life."
