New Delhi, Jan. 4 -- Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who will be playing the role of Sanskrit scholar Shivkar Talpade in his upcoming film, has been doing a lot of research for his role.
The film is set in the late 1800s and the actor is intrigued with the results of his research. "Ayushmann, who will be playing the role of Shivkar Talpade, feels that a lot of legends of that era (late 1800s and early 1900s) are yet to be recognised for their contribution towards Indian revolution," says a source.
The actor was very proud when educationist and freedom fighter Madan Mohan Malaviya recently received the Bharat Ratna for his contribution. "It is a proud moment for us to know that a person like Madan Mohan Malviya has been recognised for his contribution towards the Indian society. I hope that going forward we will read more about these individuals who have been part of Indian revolution," says Ayushmann.
