Mumbai, Dec. 16 -- As more and more filmmakers focus on their movie's promotions, actors often find themselves frantically marketing their upcoming releases with multi-city tours, social media outreach, and several TV show appearances.
And it looks like Arshad Warsi is the latest actor dealing with this frenetic time-management issue. With three back-toback releases in the first quarter of 2015, the actor has a busy few months ahead of him.
The actor will be on a PR spree and wants to spend equal time with all the films' promotional activities. A source close to Arshad says, "His first release of the year is a Subhash Kapoor directorial which releases in February. The next one, which also stars Boman Irani, will release in March, while the third film with Jackky Bhagnani will be out in April."
To add to this hectic schedule, Arshad will also start shooting for the sequel to his 2013 film, Jolly LLB, which is also being helmed by Subhash. "He will start shooting in February, and it will go on till March. So, Arshad is currently in talks with all the makers of his films to block his dates much in advance so that he has a clear idea of the plans," adds the source.
When asked about his packed promotional schedule, Arshad confirms the development, saying, "With three releases in the first quarter, I will be busy promoting the films. We are working on the promotional strategies right now. Since all the films are different subject-wise, the strategies will be different as well. Once I'm done with my current film's schedule, I guess we'll have the dates sorted as I'm also shooting for another film around the same time."
