Mumbai, Feb. 9 -- Arjun Rampal who was last seen in Satyagraha (2013), is now gearing up for his next, Roy, with Jacqueline Fernandez. But interesting, while Arjun and Jacqueline have been promoting the film, the other actor in the film, Ranbir Kapoor, has been making news primarily because of his conspicuous absence from the promotional events. But Arjun is unperturbed with the attention surrounding Ranbir.
When asked if he feels that Ranbir might steal the limelight from him, Arjun says, "I have been part of many multi-starrer films. So, I have not even given this a thought. It does not matter to me. It might matter to people who want to create controversies. As an actor who has been in the industry for over a decade, I have found a secure place for myself."
In fact, the actor is now looking forward to exploring different avenues of film-making. After having produced I See You (2006), Arjun now wants to direct a film too. "I like the creative aspect of film-making. I might direct a film one day. Even Jacqueline feels that I should direct one," he says, adding, "If I find a subject that makes me want to shoot it, then I will. Although, I know that a director's job is not easy."
