Mumbai, Jan. 9 -- Ever since he made his debut with Ishaqzaade (2012) alongside Parineeti Chopra, Arjun Kapoor has only grown as an actor, and is now being lauded as the next big thing in Bollywood. Apart from Ishaqzaade, his other films, Gunday (2014) and 2 States (2013), had the cash registers ringing as well.
With the critics hailing Arjun as the box-office boy wonder, all eyes are on his new entertainer, Tevar, which is his first collaboration with father Boney Kapoor and uncle Sanjay Kapoor. "Arjun wanted to prove himself before working on a family film. He wanted to be an asset, and with Tevar, he comes with his own strength and brings credibility to the table, on the merit of his earlier work and as an actor of the new generation," says producer Boney.
Sanjay adds, "This film is extremely special to all of us, and I'm proud to say that it's Arjun's finest work thus far - we hope audiences enjoy it as much as we enjoyed working on it together."
Director Amit Ravindernath Sharma also can't stop raving about Arjun. "Tevar is all about attitude, and Arjun Kapoor will redefine it with this film." Producer Sunil Lulla, Eros International, echoes the praise, "Arjun has seen tremendous success and we are confident Tevar will continue his winning streak."
Boney Kapoor's Tevar, presented by Eros International and Sanjay Kapoor Entertainment, produced by Sunil Lulla, Sanjay Kapoor, Naresh Agarwal & Sunil Manchanda and starring Arjun Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha and Manoj Bajpayee, is out at a theatre near you today.
