Mumbai, April 14 -- Arjun Kapoor made a successful debut with Ishaqzaade in 2012. Now, his cousin, Harshvardhan Kapoor (Anil Kapoor's son), will be launched with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's upcoming film that is an adaptation of a folklore set in Rajasthan (it has been written by the veteran writer-lyricist, Gulzar).
Ask Arjun, if he and Harshvardhan are in touch, and he says, "Of course we are. But when it comes to our work, be it Sonam, Anil chachu (uncle) or me, we all have made our own choices and done our own kind of work. I'm sure Harsh will also do the same. He is a smart person."
Before working on his debut film, 21-year-old Harshvardhan studied cinematography and screenplay-writing in Los Angeles, USA. He has also assisted director Anurag Kashyap on his next Ranbir Kapoor-starrer. "He has a lot of passion (for films), plus he has solid guidance from someone like Rakeysh. I am always there for him if he needs me. Although, when we talk, we don't talk about films. Instead, we discuss football... Manchester United and Chelsea instead of 'Tu kaun si film kar raha hai? (what film are you doing?)' or 'Main toh ye kar raha hoon (I am doing this one)'," adds Arjun.
