New Delhi, Jan. 29 -- Looks like actor Anushka Sharma is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that everything's perfect in her debut production venture NH10. Buzz is that the 26-year old has flown in a French expert to design the prosthetics of her much anticipated thriller.
A source closely working with Anushka gives us more details. "The film is about a young couple who is heading for a vacation and how things take an unexpected turn. It's a thriller but Anushka didn't want anything to look over dramatised, even the prosthetics.
Therefore she roped in Romy Angevin, an experienced makeup designer from Paris," says the source. "The prosthetics in the film are therefore almost invisible. Anushka felt that since none of our action was loud or over the top, it was important that even our prosthetics were designed in a subtle manner," adds the source.
While Anushka, who plays the lead in the film alongside actor Neil Bhoopalam, was not available for a comment, the film's director Navdeep Singh confirmed the development, saying, "The prosthetics helped break the stereotypes. Anushka is a star but in this film we did not want to glamorise her at all. We wanted the scratches and bruises she sustains to look convincing, and that's why a specialist in makeup and design was brought in. Romy's experiences on stage and European films was a big boon," says Singh.
